    Vice Governor Pearl understands that the earliest years of our children are the most crucial part of their life. Her strong support for the protection and development of the children’s welfare is manifested in the slogan of the Board which is Protect, Educate, Assist and Love our Children.
   

   She has initiated the ECCD (Early Childhood Care & Development) Program of the Province during 2005 on her second term as Board Member.  And because of the success and the value of this advocacy, the ECCD program has been institutionalized for the whole Province of Tarlac.

   The Vice Governor has always been a strong advocate in protecting Mother Earth. As part of her continuing efforts to promote public awareness and gain participation in the crusade for the environment, the slogan “Protect Earth Always Remember Life” has been crafted.

 

    Aside from resolutions and ordinances, she also shows her care to the environment through direct actions. Though her busy schedule, she makes it a point to conduct monthly tree-planting activities and also has been vigorously distributing seedlings to various agencies and NGO’s in the province.

 

   A major activity that Vice Governor Pearl strongly participates in is the distribution of PhilHealth cards to the Tarlaqueños. She believes that good health and great health service should be provided and accessible to every individual in the province of Tarlac.

   She joins the Provincial Government of Tarlac in the giving of individual PhilHealth cards to the constituents of the province.
