As the entire country experienced harsh weather brought about by a Southwest Monsoon, Tarlac  was not spared from its clutches. However, further damage was prevented  thanks mainly to the quick response of the Provincial Government of Tarlac  which was led by Vice Governor Pearl Pacada as its acting governor.

From Day One of the rough weather, Vice Governor Pearl convened all concerned department heads of the Provincial Government of Tarlac and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council to assess the damage made to the province and quickly assist the residents in need of assistance. Converting her office into a crisis center, she closely coordinated with every local chief executives in the province to offer the provincial government’s assistance to their municipalities. Vice Governor Pearl even went personally to damaged areas in the province and instructed local authorities on how to assist her fellow Tarlaqueños.

As of this writing, Vice Gov Pearl continues to monitor the different municipalities  of the province, finding ways on how to help our fellow Tarlaqueños in anyway possible.
