VG Pearl leads PGT's CSC Celebration

Vice Governor Pearl Pacada leads the Provincial Capitol employees on the celebration of the 112thAnniversary of the Civil Service Commission.

The kick-off program for the month-long celebration was held today, September 03, 2012, in front of the Tarlac Provincial Capitol Building. The program is simultaneous in all government agencies during their flag raising ceremonies. Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Members, Department Heads and employees and staff from different sectors of the Provincial Government joined the program.

Themed “Kawani, Ikaw ay Isang Lingkod Bayani”, one of the highlights of the celebration is the Awarding Ceremony for deserving employees of the PGT, including the “smiley award” which was awarded to 19 employees who always showed enthusiasm on the workplace. Another award was the “Best House Keeping Award” which was given to the Civil Security Unit. Vice Governor Pearl Pacada and the Board Members also gave cash prizes to the awardees.

During her speech, Vice Governor Pearl Pacada reminded the PGT employees to keep in heart the theme of the CSC Anniversary celebration, “to provide service for the Province-mates above one’s self.” The Lady Vice Governor also encouraged her PGT family that even without merits and awards, they should always give their 100 % in the positions that they are assigned to.
